Dubbelcd Hans Kox

In het najaar van 2020 verschijnt bij het label Et'cetera de dubbel cd Hans Kox Chamber Music at Orlando. Het Orlando Festival brengt deze cd's uit.

Hierop verschijnen alle werken die gehoord zijn tijdens het Orlando Festival van 2019. Uitvoerenden zijn: Cyrus Allyar, Peter Brunt, Chekhov Trio, Dorian Cooke, Ellen Corver, Charly Delbecq, Katherine Dowling, Ingrid Geerlings, Larissa Groeneveld, Toby Hughes, Alan R. Kay, Malevich Piano Quartet, Mikhail Nemtsov, Elena Nemtsova, Ron Schaaper, James Austin Smith, Kristian Winther, Tjeu Zeijen. 

Op deze cd's zijn de volgende 15 werken te horen: Piano Quartet no. 1 (1959), Préludes (1971), Sonata (1987/rev/ 1991) Variations on a Theme by Ludwig van Beethoven (1991) Le Chant du Merle (1998, uitvoering voor hobo en fluit), Achilles Sextet (1999, revision 2001), Piano Quartet no. 2 (1968), The jealous guy plays his tune (1975), Piano Trio (1976/revision 1991), Cyclofonie XIII (1984), Four Studies for contrabass (1987), Lied ohne Worte (2000), The Silent Cry (2001), Stray Birds (2015). Ook de Tombeau for Hans Kox, geschreven door Eduard de Boer is te horen op deze binnenkort te verschijnen uitgave.

In the autumn of 2020, the double CD Hans Kox Chamber Music at Orlando will be released on the Et'cetera label. The Orlando Festival is producing these CDs.
